SmartDepot connects shops to receiving without giving merchants a view into your inventory.
Hand off a cart
A merchant submits a signed cart. It belongs to nobody until the user explicitly claims it.
Authorize a workspace
An owner or admin selects a workspace and explicitly permits orders and/or shipments.
Check receiving
Delivery lines remain expected goods until the physical items are checked and put away.
Free for merchants and Free users
Cart handoff is included in Free. Merchants can connect SmartDepot without a platform fee – the more shops participate, the easier ordered parts reach your workspace.
Transparent restocking recommendations
SmartDepot plans to suggest suitable merchants when an item needs restocking. Any affiliate link in a recommendation will be clearly labelled. It does not increase the purchase price, and merchants still receive no access to your inventory.
Write-only by design
API v1 writes carts, orders and shipments. It cannot read users, products, storage locations, inventory or other workspaces. Connections are visible and revocable in SmartDepot.
For developers
The developer platform provides OpenAPI 3.1, an isolated sandbox, OAuth Authorization Code with mandatory PKCE, rotating refresh tokens, HMAC signatures and mandatory idempotency keys.
